Commercial Flight Training

Commercial Pilots Licence

The aim of the course is to train PPL(A) holders to the level of proficiency necessary for the issue of an EASA Commercial Pilot Licence. The flight training requirements for applicants without an Instrument Rating comprises a minimum of 25 hours of dual
flight instruction, including 10 hours of instrument instruction. Applicants with a valid Instrument Rating or BIFM will require a minimum of 15 hours dual flight instruction under Visual Flight Rules.

The training is completed on our Piper Arrow aircraft. The avionics fit in the Arrow is virtually identical to our Piper Seneca and Flight and Navigation Procedure Trainer (FNPTII) including Garmin GNS430; this significantly eases the transition
when moving on to the Instrument Rating.
