MEIR Renewal / Revalidation
We offer training for Multi Engine Instrument Rating holders wishing to renew or revalidate their licence.
Revalidation of IR
- May be conducted in aircraft or FNPT11 if previous IRT/LPC was in an aircraft.
- Applicants must hold a current relevant Class Rating appropriate to the IR privileges being revalidated or alternatively combine the revalidation of Class Rating and IR on one LPC.
Renewal of IR
- May only be conducted in an aircraft.
- Applicants must hold a current relevant Class Rating appropriate to the IR privileges being renewed or alternatively combine the revalidation of Class Rating and IR on one LPC.
MEP Class Rating
- May only be revalidated or renewed in aircraft.
MEP or IR Renewals require Training as required by ATO HT and a Course Completion Certificate prior to test.
ALX Simulator
In line with our ongoing commitment to investing in modern training technology, we expanded our simulator fleet in 2023 with the acquisition of the most advanced device in the ALSIM ALX range.
The ALSIM ALX is a high-fidelity FNPT II simulator equipped with a full glass cockpit and a sophisticated avionics suite, including dual FMS, a complex overhead panel, medium jet throttle quadrant, nose wheel steering, and dual Garmin GTN 650 GPS units with WAAS/SBAS certification. Garmin SafeTaxi functionality provides geo-referenced airport diagrams across Europe, the United States, and Canada.
The simulator is further enhanced by a panoramic high-definition visual system, TCAS, force feedback controls, weather radar, and a worldwide navigation database. Photo-realistic scenery and advanced system modelling deliver a highly immersive and realistic training environment.
Certified as FNPT II SEP and MEP Complex, and approved for PBN (Performance Based Navigation) training, the ALSIM ALX supports a wide range of professional training applications. It includes validated flight models for MCC, JOC, and SPS courses, with Airbus A320 and Boeing 737-800 configurations available.
